How to use the iPad Gmail UI on Mac with Fluid
Some of you may love the UI of Gmail for iPad. Unfortunately not all of us have iPads, but now we can settle for the second best thing: imitation!
Simply follow these instructions:
1. Download Fluid (http://fluidapp.com/)
2. Create a new one like this: http://cl.ly/ZEV
3. Run the app. You'll notice it's boring normal interface:
4. Click the Gmail menubar, and choose User Agent. (http://cl.ly/OAJ)
5. Choose other and use the following:
Mozilla/5.0(iPad; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.21.10 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.4 Mobile/7B314 Safari/531.21.10
6. Restart the application, and you should be using the iPad's interface! Congratulations!
